Sharing Licenses And Learning History Within Your Organization

Oftentimes when setting up a new Organization or trying to access older information within an Organization, you need to change ownership properties. These ownership properties can be changed for both Learners and Licenses.

Step 1

Make sure you are the owner of the Licenses.

When you are in your account, select the ‘Licenses’ section located on the left side in the ‘Manage’ tab.

Step 2

In the ‘Licenses’ section, select the downward facing arrow next to the course title.

This will open the various sets of Licenses that have been purchased over time.

Step 3

You will want to find the earliest set of Licenses you purchased and select the ‘Gear Icon’ on the respective set of Licenses.

Next, click ‘Distribute’.

Step 4

In the distribute window, select ‘Ownership’ which is the last tab available on the right.

Step 5

Once in the ‘Ownership’ tab, select the Organization you’d like to share the Licenses with and then click ‘Save’.

Repeat these steps for each License that isn't owned by the Organization.

To give access to all the training history to the other Training Managers, you will have to repeat these steps for each set of Licenses that isn’t already owned by the Organization, or all the one’s you’d like to share.

You've now shared the Licenses with the Organization!

Since you’ve now shared the Licenses within your Organization, the Training Managers are able to access the training history of the organization!
